Release inspection of loading compartments (LCI)

An inspection of cargo compartments usually takes place when new cargo is loaded or cargo was loaded that (un)knowingly did not comply with the regulations for the transport of animal feed. During the inspections, the loading order, risk categorisation of the transported products and the applied cleaning regimes, amongst other things, will be checked.

The inspection (and possible sampling) of the storage compartments themselves is part of the inspection. After the inspection, you will receive a release certificate which proves that your cargo compartment complies to GMP+ and OVOCOM regulations again.
